Hello, I’m Betty May. I’m a professional dance teacher, award-winning performer, popular TV talk show guest, and choreographer for over 20 years. In addition to teaching hundreds of beginners to dance, I have judged many dance competitions throughout Southern California and coached dancers at all levels, including professionals. In my dance classes, I make it easy and fun for first-timers. I encourage you to bring a partner, but this is not required.

I also teach Ikebana and am a member of the Sugetsu School. I studied extensively with Japanese Ikebana Master, Ms. Yamamoto, and was honored with the post of Official Flower Arranger and Teacher by the Postal Service of the Republic of China. I have been very active as a teacher, consultant, and designer for numerous weddings, corporations, and private individuals. I’ve also conducted workshops at the Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach, California.

I am also a culinary artist. I’ve studied Italian cooking in Florence, Italy, with Master Chef Ferruccio and Master Chef Fabrizio, and have an extensive knowledge of Chinese cuisine.
